Very early Drake Pintail in bold form and O.P. Condition is original except the tail as I believe it was professional replaced with a metal tail that looks original. Ca.1900, this outstanding old working Toller is hollow with a center line joint as seen. Some natural old in-use wear to the paint as well as a small area of crackling on the left front breast.

Unidentified East Coast EBW18
Magnum hollow Drake Mallard with inlet head. The form has elements of George Boyd,Mason's Premiere and some of the early Maritime carvers. This decoy was made by a master carpenter. There is a wooden patch on the left wing that probably replaced a knot or other defect in the wood.
